WHY IT STARTED
The IPCA was created to breach a gap in the coaching field. We felt that the world was lacking the motivation and well-being required to ensure community development. So, a few passionate and committed experts in the coaching field combined skills and expertise, forming the IPCA. That was in 2011, and since then we have grown from strength to strength to help form and shape communities into thriving bubbles of hope. Our high standards and network of professional trainers and coaches are some of the inspirations of the world.
The IPCA has grown over the years to include coaching programs that anyone can join to gain insight and qualifications to help others. It also offers independent verification and accreditation to outside course creators proving the course curriculum meets the rigorous vetting process in place.
The IPCA has very high standards and we expect any course we endorse to be created towards the same standard. Every course we accredit, and every coach we train, adhere to our code of ethics and high competencies.

Coaching Program Accreditation
The IPCA will accredit external programs that deliver coaching training. Any program can be submitted for accreditation, and it will be subjected to a demanding and meticulous review process before it can be approved. The course will need to have content to a high standard, and it will also have to clearly demonstrate that the curriculum aligns with the code of ethics and competency standards of the IPCA.
